ABOUT ME

Emel Sensoy was born in Atlantic City, New Jersey, and raised in Istanbul, Türkiye. Her love for acting started young and took her to Tring Park School for the Performing Arts outside London, where she trained before moving to New York City and continuing her studies at the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute and Stella Adler Studio of Acting.

Since then, Emel has worked across film, television, theatre and vertical drama. She especially loves characters that are complicated, bold, a little unpredictable, and not always necessarily the nicest person in the room.

Outside of traditional acting, Emel also works in UGC, commercial work, voiceover and audiobooks. Whether it’s a dramatic role, comedy, voiceover, or something completely new, Emel is always looking for the next story and the next character to throw herself into.
